Doug Meier is a Country singer/songwriter.
Doug Meier is a prolific songwriter, writing his own words and music and singing all of his own original songs. Being record-label-free, he is the sole determiner of the organic music that he produces. They are, according to Doug Meier, just as God has given them to him. His songs are distributed and sold through digital outlets worldwide, including Amazon Music and Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube and many, many other digital distribution outlets. He has recently released several all-original songs, including, "Better Hands Than Mine", "I'd Never Thought about Forever", "I Love Duct Tape!", "Cowboys Never Cry", "I Love You Twice As Much", "Candlelights and Bubblebath", and "Little Tommy's Prayer". Doug has a powerful baritone voice and has been applauded for his unique vocal technique, which has been described as a "falsetto cowboy yodel", and showcased in his song, "Boone's Wine, Strawberry Hill!" He also has a big heart, as evidenced in the song "Little Tommy's Prayer" which was written about Doug Meier's sister, who suffered from Cerebral Palsy and couldn't walk and talk until she went to be with Jesus in 2004. His songs are timeless, classic-country style and will be enjoyed by his fans for years to come.
