[edit] Biography

Logan was born in Emporia, Kansas. He attended Ottawa High School for his highschool education. In the middle of his school career, Swafford, along with Paul Thomas, formed the alternative electronic band Eight Centimeter Skrewz. After several bitter days of fighting, Logan split from the band, stating creative differences as the main problem.

On May 9th Logan and Paul Thomas met and formed the punk rock band Shotgun. Shotgun was formed as a side project of Famosiz, as a way for lead man Paul Thomas to further express himself in ways unfit for Famosiz. Paul looked to friend Logan Swafford as his main person of collaboration. The two put aside their bitter conflict which had begun during the disastrous Eight Centimeter Skrewz era. This is where Logan's alternate came from: To prevent confusion with previous projects, the two gave themselves Punk Rock Names (a la the Sex Pistols); Tommy SexXx (Thomas), and Flag Michaels (Swafford).

For the longest time Shotgun. was usually hiding in the shadows of Famosiz, but they had their first major break through on May 19, preforming at the Ottawa High School Forensics/GED Graduation ceremony. Thomas and Swafford preformed their original piece, "Flaxinator" (Also known as Purple (003)), in front of a live audience to a standing ovation. Paul Thomas, the lyrics auther, was inpsired to write "Flaxinator" about a teacher who taught him many things, especially Forensics and English. The song's music, which is comprised of three chords played in a cyclical, yet tantilizing pattern, was written impromptu by Logan Swafford after being extemporaneously told that Shotgun. would be performing.

Recently, Swafford has written the bands newest single, entitled "Crunch Bars and Cyanide," which is a political commentary on the improper packaging and distribution of the candy industry.
