Been here at The Garage Band Wiki for a while? Feel like your ready to be an admin? Well you have to be prepared to do alot of hard work, and help people with alot of problems. You must be an outstanding member of the Garage Bands community to Request Adminship.

So just what does being an admin (or Sysop, as they are popularly known) entail?
Editing, Lots and Lots of Editing[]
Sysops correct grammer errors, write new articles and discuss topics the same as active users. However, there are certain tasks in the community designed just for Sysops. Every admin is volunteering himself to do work, and admins may be assigned to do a specific task.
Templates[]
Just like regular users, admins may make their own custom templates, or templates designed for the good of the community. However, when a task needs to be done, say a specific template needs designing, admins are the go-to guys (or girls).
Delete Pages, Rename and Merge Pages[]
It is the sole duty of Sysops to delete, rename or merge a page after a discussion from the community.
Dealing with vandalism[]
Sysops may ban unruley or vandalistic users. However, Sysops should NEVER abuse their power, and should consult other Sysops before making a ban on a user who is non-vandalistic. If the user is a determined vandal, he may receive a perma-ban.
Helping Out[]
Are you prepared to help out your neighbors?
Sysops must be prepared to help out their fellow users in a friendly, dignified way. Answering any questions they may have about the Wiki, Wikia or related topics.
